Large-scale public banner reading All Will Be Well installed at St Peter’s Chaplaincy in Manchester’s Oxford Road district referencing Julian of Norwich.

St Peter’s Chaplaincy commissioned a second large-scale public artwork for their Oxford Road site in Manchester’s university district.

The installation featured the phrase All Will Be Well, presented as a monumental typographic banner designed for high visibility within a dense urban environment.

The phrase is attributed to Julian of Norwich, the 14th-century mystic whose writings on hope and divine reassurance continue to resonate across contemporary spiritual and cultural contexts. In this setting, the message was intended as a quiet but powerful intervention within the pace of city life.

Positioned high above street level, the work offers a moment of calm reflection within the rhythm of the urban environment, inviting passers-by to pause and consider ideas of endurance, care and collective wellbeing.

Installed for a biannual display period, the work continues the Chaplaincy’s wider programme of public-facing messaging, using language-based artworks to engage students, staff and visitors across Manchester’s academic corridor.

See You are Enough for the first instalment at St Peter’s House. See Belfast City Council, Wembley Steps and Axis Tower for other public works.
