I want to create public spaces where people feel seen, are happy in their own skin, and have a sense of grace towards others.
I do this by bringing the humanities to commercial spaces, with a kinder vision of life, for a more harmonious society.
Many years ago I began working to provide antidotes to toxic messaging. I did this to create healthier living and working spaces in towns and cities. I realised that adverts are like friends with ulterior motives. They intentionally create anxiety, so they can supply you the remedy, for a price. The World Economic Forum has found, on a massive scale, that when there is a rise in ad spend, there is a decrease in life satisfaction. My antidotes appear in public, commercial settings and offer life affirming phrases such as You Are Enough and Community Like Never Before.
A number of permanent physical sites have already been initiated and projects in the pipeline. The services I have developed have become a vision for how public space and the advertising industry can be. I’m using Patreon to inspire a new way of being, broaden the scope of possibilities and raise awareness. The tiers offer small rewards, like free publications, access to early content and discount codes. Some support me because I challenge the responsibility of the advertising industry, others because they recognise the positive impact of life affirming public messages.

Your support will go towards the running costs of Add-Art Ancoats in its pursuit to share uplifting and hopeful content from artists and designers around the world.

Support in this Tier will enable me to increase production and will go towards the running costs of the larger Add-Art in the Student District in its pursuit to share uplifting and hopeful content from artists and designers around the world.
This will cover cost of researching the best worldwide and local talent to exhibit life affirming content as we work towards happier cities.
Tier 4 → Advocate
Support in this Tier will speed up the process of the Selling Virtues campaign to enlist the best thinkers and ad agencies to create a major billboard take over in England's North West. It will also enable me to offer free consultation to like minded enterprises across the nations.
Tier 5 → Philanthropist
Support in this Tier will help dramatically towards all the projects from producing stickers, curating the Add Art billboards, producing Selling Virtues, website, travel and accommodation costs and enable me to offer free consultations to with similar goals.
