Large-scale public billboard typography campaign in Manchester featuring colourful messages about kindness and community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Your Space Or Mine is a series of public billboard works created in collaboration with Jack Arts UK and the BUILDHOLLYWOOD network, developed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The project comprised three large-scale poster works installed across urban environments in Manchester, designed as public interventions that responded to a period of social disruption, isolation and reflection.

Each piece combined bold typographic statements with reduced colour fields, creating immediate visual impact at scale while allowing the messaging to remain clear and direct. Phrases such as Let’s Make This Love Normal and Kindness At Its Proper Level were broken into structured compositions of colour and type, designed to be read quickly in motion across the city.

The work explored how public advertising space could be used as a platform for collective reflection rather than commercial messaging, drawing attention to themes of community, care and shared responsibility.

Installed across billboards and urban walls, the series formed part of a wider movement of socially conscious public art emerging during the pandemic period, responding to shifting ideas around connection, wellbeing and public space.
